Hi, I’m Sam.
REGISTERED PSYCHOTHERAPIST | TRAUMA SPECIALIST
Many of the individuals I work with are thoughtful, capable, and deeply committed—to their careers, relationships, and families. Often in their late 20s to early 40s, they are navigating meaningful life transitions that can feel both exciting and overwhelming.
While things may appear steady on the outside, internally they may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward.
Clients often come to therapy for support with relationship challenges, anxiety, fertility or parenting stress, and major life changes. Together, we explore patterns, build insight, and develop practical tools to help you move forward with more clarity, confidence, and connection.

• Difficulty trusting or feeling safe in relationships
• Emotional overwhelm, shutdown, or reactivity
• People-pleasing, avoidance, or protective patterns
• Lasting effects of childhood experiences or unmet needs
A TAILORED APPROACH
Sessions are tailored to your personal experiences & current challenges while remaining focused on the life you want to build, blending clinical expertise with practical strategies that fit the realities of your lifestyle & responsibilities.
GUIDING PRINCIPLES
-

PSYCHOEDUCATION
Knowledge is power. Understanding your behavioural, thought, and emotional patterns brings clarity and validation, and helps guide how you manage and grow through challenges. -

CLARITY & CHOICE
Offering clear, practical guidance that helps you feel grounded and capable, turning insight into real-world strategies so you can make intentional decisions & move forward with clarity, confidence & momentum. -

ATTACHMENT
Early relationship experiences shape how you relate to yourself & others, often influencing patterns of anxiety, low self-esteem, or relationship struggles. Together, we explore these patterns to build awareness, security & healthier connections. -

CURIOSITY & COMPASSION
Approaching your experiences with openness & kindness rather than judgment, creating space to gently explore what’s beneath the surface. Through curiosity, we make sense of your patterns; through compassion, we begin to shift them. -

TRAUMA-INFORMED
A trauma-informed approach recognizes that your symptoms are responses to what you’ve lived through -not personal flaws. Grounded in the brain–body connection, our work focuses on building safety, nervous system regulation, & resilience.

Virtual Therapy - Online support made easy.
Virtual therapy offers flexibility, accessibility, and comfort — allowing you to connect from the privacy of your own space without the stress of commuting or rearranging your day.
It makes consistent support more manageable for busy professionals, parents, and couples, while still providing the same thoughtful, attuned, and evidence-based care as in-person sessions.
For many clients, being in a familiar environment can even help them feel more relaxed and open, allowing the work to go deeper, sooner.
