Learn More About Sam
Are you looking for a relatable therapist that's down-to-earth, practical & personable? That's me!
Hi I’m Sam (she/her),
I’ve always had a keen interest in the workings of the human mind and an empathetic understanding of the experiences of those around me. What better way to incorporate these passions into a career that’s both rewarding and uplifting than with therapy!
As a Registered Psychotherapist + Trauma Intervention Responder, I bring a diverse education & personal background to my practice, allowing me to connect with various mindsets since we all have unique perspectives and experiences.
I work from an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, & strength-based perspective, ensuring therapy is a space where you can truly be yourself. My practice is affirming of BIPOC & LGBTQIA2S+ identities.
MY VALUES
COMPASSION
I understand that life can be a hard and know the benefit of having a safe spot to land - to work through hard times, learn to cope, or invest in our self-development.
DOWN-TO-EARTH
I strive to provide a down to earth approach & a client-centered spin on evidence-based practices, including DBT, CBT & Somatic therapy. I like to feel comfortable in our sessions & want you to feel the same way!
