HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY

INTRODUCTION

Creating Compassion Psychotherapy is committed to the health and safety of our volunteers, contractors, and visitors.  We all share a responsibility and will work together to reduce the risk of injury and occupational disease. As an organization, we respect and uphold the requirements set forth under the Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA), and its associated regulations.

Creating Compassion Psychotherapy endeavours to take every precaution reasonable to protect and promote the safety of all workers. This applies to visitors and private contractors working on Creating Compassion Psychotherapy property.

Creating Compassion Psychotherapy will make every effort to provide a safe, healthy environment.  All workers must be dedicated to reducing the risk of injury.

As the owner, Creating Compassion Psychotherapy is ultimately responsible for health and safety.  It is our commitment that we will comply with duties under the Occupational Health & Safety Act, such as taking every reasonable precaution for the protection of those in the workplace.

All workers must protect his or her own health and safety by working in compliance with the law and with safe work practices and procedures established by their professional college and Creating Compassion Psychotherapy. 

Commitment to health and safety must form an integral part of this organization for everyone. It is in the best interest of all parties to consider health and safety in every activity.
